    Hardware for mini mono

I have a 23 inche hull. Its a deep V but i was told to get a mono rudder/strut assembly.. i am hoping for everything i will need to have a working drive line. I have 3656 size motor, 120a esc, and a steering servo. Reciever. So i have everything to make it run, just nothing to turn a prop. Pm me or post pictures and prices here. Thanks

Thats not mini hardware. You probably want 3/16 shaft with 130 cable. Mini would be 1/8 shaft with .098 cable.

If you want mini I have an extra strut for 16 shipped

Ose has good hardware available. There are a few other online us based places that had hardware. I seen in your other thread you wanted a complete hardware and drive package for 20? I wish you luck. Its going to cost you a bit more.

+ shipping. If you want it sooner rather than later add another $15 for EMS shipping...

If this is anything like the Fullers Hardware it would work well on a smaller 20 something inch mono:

Im not a fan of the square end drives. Maintenance nightmare... Plus its an odd ball cable (in the US).

I have a 3/16" strut and 3/16" shaft wire drive w/ coupler I could let go. You would need only a brass stuffing tube and a rudder...

I think the strut is the excellent quality speedmaster that Steve sells here on OSE.

If your interested I can pull the strut off the boat and get an ID on it. Get the shaft and coupler and send you some pics.

The wire drive is .078" wire, so it will handle your motor without issue. I may have a .0625" wire setup also. Either or will work. Wires drives are pretty nice. Unlike flex shafts that contract under load and twist some, these pretty much just "go" when you jump on the throttle.

Thats for you to decide. I have a drive setup that will work for you.

I understand your new. What I have is a "wire drive". Instead of a flex shaft its a single solid piece of steel. They work well but will not work in an application that has a radical bend. The one I know I have ready to go with coupler is .078" wire. I may have a .062" wire drive setup also- either or would work.

Let me pull that strut off the boat an inspect it. Then I need to rummage through my spare parts drawers and bins.
