I need this for a Submarine I'm getting so 27mz or 75mz only NO 2.4gz will work since the signal won't penetrate the surface of the water like the old school AM.
Let me know what you have and the condition and when last used.

RX isa a FP-R114H
I think I have a channel 22 crystal set
It has a rechargable pack in it that shows have full but I'm not sure it will hold up. I have the Futaba wall charger for it as well.

I sent a link to the radio to the builder of the sub to see if it's what I can use. I'm in no rush since I don't have the sub yet.
When was the last time you used the radio and will it take aa's instead of the rechargable pack?

Hi Daniel,
It won't take AA's as the contacts aren't there. It was purchase with a rechargeable pack. It can be replaced. I have not used it it least 5 years.

Thanks for responses The guy who I'm getting the Sub from sugested I'd be better with a 6 channel so I ended up buying new with discount and free shipping from Tower $119.00
