Todd I really like the VooDoo cuping block. That, a small brass hammer and a pair of cupping pliers and you're all set.

I am going to make one of these. I wonder which diameter bearings are most used for our smaller 45mm-50mm props.

Can you still buy the voodoo ones? I emailed them a few times with no reply and thought they may nonger be doing them? Certainly a nice piece.

I believe that one is for 1/4" shaft props for gas boats - to large for typical FE boats. I have one made by Little Rock Welding but they are hard to come by. The link below is a viable solution with the punches held in a vice or a fixture that you can easily make. If you wait for a sale or get a coupon they are much cheaper.

As for pitch gages the Hughey Pitch Gage is alright and not a bad price but are also hard to come by. There are others that use dial indicators and are very pricey. Here is a good one if it's still available.

My VooDoo anvil is for 3/16" props, works great. The fixed shaft makes it a lot easier for new prop modifiers to duplicate mods on each blade. I use all the balls working with props from 42 to 55mm in diameter, it depends on what you are trying to do. A small brass hammer and a pair of prop pliers are also mandatory if you are serious about props. The channel locks on the Voodoo sithe are too big for our use, I have a pair of Stanley pliers I modified by grinding one side flat and the other with a barrel profile. Polish and it's ready to go. Lots of good info here:
