Don't think I'm looking anymore
Looking for a nice helicopter, collective pitch. I've flown a couple fixed pitch helis (coaxial and single rotor) and they're not as much fun as I hoped. The 3d ones on my simulator are moreso, and so I wanna see if a real one can do it for me.
Ideally, I'd like to find a Blade 400 for around $150 shipped. Seems to be a good quality heli that I could learn the 3d stuff with & I'd be less disappointed when it crashes because of it's lower cost.
But a Blade 450 would awesome too, I just don't think I can afford one (300 new bnf & I haven't come across any used ones that haven't been crashed & rebuilt.) Heck, can't even really "afford" a Blade 400. But who needs to eat & drink anyhow when there's RC??
The T-rex helis cost much more, right?
Brands I haven't heard of probably won't be too appealing for me, as I figure I'll need to get spare parts at the LHS when any small mishaps occur.
I haven't done a lot of looking around, but did just pass up a Blade 400 on ebay that was $150 shipped in like-new condition. That was one of the cheaper ones. So I know one of those might be doable, but I'll need to find a better deal still. Haven't been looking long.
I could maybe work some stuff into a trade for a more expensive heli, I dunno. Just not made of money, unfortunately. Not sure what I have extra in terms of FE boating, but feel free to post what you might be interested in if you have a heli to get rid of.
I do have lots of plane stuff. I also have a Blade CX2 bnf I'd glady put towards a trade & I can get a Blade SR120 bnf for trade too if you're interested. (buddy owes me money & wanted to give me the sr120 instead)
I have a spare DX5e transmitter like-new too that I could trade.
Anywhoo...
Thanks for looking!
