    MPH reader / Garmin?

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me the best MPH reader that I can put in my boat to check top speed? I know garmin makes them but what model is the best/cheapest and smallest? Or are there any other ones that I can plug into my reciever?

Garmin seems to be very popular, as far as I am aware nne plug into your receiver, about the closest thing you'll get to that is eagle tree data logging with their dashboard system and GPS tracker, probably 4 times the price and hassle.

Garmin ETREX legend. About $30-$50 on fleabay in good used condition. I picked mine up for $38 shipped. None that plug into a receiver. 6BOOST is spot on with eagle tree. Unless your a pro racer, IMHO the money and time spent is not worth it unless you have money to burn.
