Hello, just as the title says, I'm looking to find a rudder for my current build (a 29" sprintcat)
My hull has 4 screw holes for a rudder bracket, and then a larger hole in the middle (for the steering linkage I assume)
A spare new rudder was included with my hull, but it's bracket mounts with only 2 screws and the rudder itself seems a bit small for my application (approx 4" tall)
I'd be much more comfortable running a stronger system... & a slightly longer rudder might be nice too.
From the OSE store, it looks like some of the speedmaster rudder brackets may be what the hull was initially installed when someone else ran it. I'm not able to drop $40-$50 to equip my used hull with a new rudder though.
So, if anyone can let go of a rudder closer to 5" w/bracket that mounts with 4 bolts - Let me know!
Not sure how much a used unit might run, but this is a budget build. If you're looking for $20+, I'm probably not your customer.
Or, if anyone wants to trade for my smaller rudder in new condition, I'd be up for working something out as well.
Oh, also a different stinger/strut might be nice. The one I have doesn't reach far enough under the hull to meet up with the end of the stuffing tube. There's nearly an inch of space where the flex cable would be exposed. I don't think I can just drill a new hole in my existing bracket to bring it back towards the hull a bit, because that would alter how far back the prop would be. (and yes, I have the stinger facing with the tapered part towards the front of the hull. It's an even bigger gap if mocked up the other way.)
Included is a picture of the existing holes for the rudder so you can get an idea of the type of bracket i'd like to match up to the hull.
