Poor timming on my part because ive passed up some great deals but at the time i was unsure on buying a v hull, if someone has one less motor and esc....i may be interested or im buying a new one less hardware, need a rougher water boat

Yeah, but thats why we have all these aftermarket parts available.....ive got everything electronic wise, just need a hull to pack the stuff in

Found one on ibaygig.com also for 141.00 bucks....thats cheapo also, i havent heard really any negative on the p-1, seeing its gonna be a scratch build anyways. Here in kansas we get r share of wind and what usually grounds my fleet i figure i can run the p-1, planned on carbon fibering the hull right off the bat and thanks for the link brother

anytime, if you haven't already seen them check out antslake thread on the P1 and some cool videos. I love my P1 and found it curious that you wanted to bling one out from scratch. The hull is limited to about 6s and a decent motor. I've ran 5s with the stock motor on smooth water and it was a blast. When the wind comes up put a pair of 3s in par and calibrate your thrt finger because it's big fun jumping waves. Check out the antslake vids. much luck to your build either way.

Those are the slow mo vids...yes?....seen some here before and really liked how the boat rode the waves, gonna go check it out again, sure it will fire me up worse...lol
