I've got a German motor Lehner 2250 11 turn with jacket and 4" rail mount..........Eagles may soar in the clouds, but weasels never get sucked into jet engines..56" P.I. Fountain /37"Genesis Cat.-1717/T-180/33" DF Copy-1717/T-180 -
One problem with "what they run in Europe" is that the racing they do is not like we run in NA. Most of their running is for far longer than a typical sprint race heat, so their setups are usually milder. A European race setup might be rather slow over here.
The Lehner 2240 motors are somewhat equivalent to the 1521s, but being 2-pole motors you would normally choose a slightly lower Kv. When the Neus were first introduced we found we needed to use a Kv 15% to 25% higher than the 2-pole motors.

Lehner motors are very powerful and good quality, same as NEU motors but NEU are cheaper.
as far as I know and please correct me if I am wrong, in Europe a p-mono is a mono-2. Normally they are lighter, smaller, stepped (than a df33 for example) and prefer smaller props-high rpm-high kv and normally use the 1950 series.Twin Cat 135, Sprintcat40 (single-twin), DF 35", Maritimo, Mean Machine, SV 27
