Looking for another leopard 4082 1600kv motor 5mm shaft for a twin project. Or if someone has 2 matching leopards ill either trade this motor and cash or just buy outright. Looking for the water jacket also. Thanks for looking!!!

I don't think they sell that kv anymore brad ...why not do castle motors? The 4082 doesn't have anything on the 1520's... -

Check with Larrysdrifter. I think he has a 1500kv and was looking for a 1600kv...maybe you could trade??? At least then you could buy a match for it.Comment

I have a couple like new 10xl's with jackets.... tiqueman hs a skunk cat twin the same exact size as the appiration that does 70 with the 10xl's... I almost think the 4082's would be alot of motor for twins and will weigh th hull down alot... I also have two brand new 1520's (one has a new ose jacket) but I think I wanna keep those for my supercat....
I think twin xl's would be plenty enough motor for the appiration...Comment

I cant imagine getting a 40mm motor in the App., and then a jacket on it. My 10Xls were tight enough. I think they will go, your just gunna have a heck of an "S" bend in the stuffing tube.Comment

I would. Leopards would push it nicely but the struggle to fit I dont think is worth it. Save the bigger stuff for the HPR. I know someone who has 2 available.. I think. His name is Jason... hes on the forum.. JMSCARD

I stuck my 4082 with jacket in the sponson of my genesis, its tight but i think it will work with no problem.
