what kind of money you looking to spend? Mine is a H&M M-1 Supercat 34" twin... its a SUPER SUPER CLEAN BUILD...

    http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ad.php?t=16085

Picture "with" wing at bottom of page....

Boat was built by Fine Design and then before it was ever put in the water was reworked by theee Paul Pachmayer. Boat has 3 runs on it...

Includes the following (which all are only 3 runs old!) whole boat is in brand new condition:

Hydro and Marine M-1 Supercat ($321 plus ship)
    Twin Etti 150 escs ($150 X 2 = $300 )
Twin Feigo 10xl's with ose water jackets and Mounts (10xl's w/mount and jackets X 2= $230)
    Counter rotating flex shafts ( 2 X $25= $50)
    Counter rotating X447's sharpened and balanced (2 X $40= $80)
High Speed High Torque Metal Geared Hitec Servo ($50)
    FDM turbo struts ($50X2 = $100)
    Rudder and Bracket ($40)

This doesn't inlude the alluminum water outputs or the other bits and pieces of course... or any labor... boat also has a lexan subhatch that keeps it VERY dry :)... Make me an offer if you really want it... I am not that motivated to sell and I paid a pretty penny for it.... $1000 might do it.... I know it may be more then what you are looking to spend but shes very reliable and set right up... runs 50mph on 4s and can run high 50's almost 60 on 5s.... handles like a dream...

Beautiful boat. I'd like to see some of your others...you seem to have very nice stuff.
That's a bit more than I'm looking to spend though ($1000). I'd like to stay closer to half that, or maybe less if I find something w/o motor and esc. I'd like to find something to put a pair of 4074's in.
I also have some stuff to trade or add to cash for anyone who's interested...supervee 27 hull/hardware, bj26 hull/hardware, and some land based RCs as well.

Too bad you missed a Hobbyking apparation twin cat on here a few days back... was more in your price range... honestly you may want to look to hobbyking to find a reasonable twin cat because most of the members here have high end esc's and motors in their twins unless they are stock hong kong (hobbyking) boats.... my other boats are all single motors... except for my 54" MHZ drambuei on ice with twin 2215 and shculze 40/160 esc's... I'd need around $2500 for that one... but actually still wouldn't sell it..... check out my album for my other boat pics... its not all of them but most of them.....

Yeah I saw the 54MHZ in your sig...must be a hot boat. I got Rumdog's old DF 40" copy with a single 2215 and it runs pretty good.

I saw the apparition on here and thought about it, but it didnt stay around long. Somebody got that one pretty quick.
If I were to get a hk boat I would just be swapping the motors/esc's out right away, so I thought I'd see what was around here first. I have pretty much sworn off Feiago motors after losing 3 esc's to motors that suddenly act as a short. I was pretty much stuck with Neu but I have been running the Leopard motors lately and had great luck with them so far, so I wouldn't mind pairing up a couple in something.

I'm also considering getting something to replace my supervee 27. The motor/esc are a little much for that hull so I'm keeping my eyes open for something 29"-33" too. If I were to spend $1000 on a boat right now though, it would have to be my own build.

I hear ya keith.... but I just assume place my $ with a professional in the builidng are... I have a paul pachmayer built titan 29, delta force vortex, H & M drifter L, and this boat.... they are all much better then I can EVER fatham building.... The MHZ Drambeui was built by Sandy allan... AKA Catboi... he is again a better craftsman than I will ever be...... some of us are better at thing then others.... I know I am a better "end user" then builder...ha ha... but really builds of this quality are fantasic in performance and appearance... if you don't have a ton of experience I would recommend a cheaper build... as I wouldnt, myself that is, start cutting into a High end H & M or MHZ hull.... I would start with building a 33" delta force or the like.... alot goes into "Twin" cats.... alignment, etc., all which I just assume leave to some of the "pros" on here well I stick to pushing "iron" (auto sales manager) so I can afford to have them build em'.... ha ha.... lol.... Thanks again keith and good luck on your quest!!!

                    Maritimo with Twins

Keith, I had my Maritimo 36" Hydro & Marine for sale on the Swap Shop a while ago, still for sale, it's still winer over here in Australia so I haven't used it for a while.

Thank you! I got that one. worked out well as he was local so saved shipping cost.

I would stay away from HK boats if looking at putting in $$$$. The apparition twin is nice, but it is cheap. both sponsons on mine have anhydral as the outsides sit deeper than the inside edge. It is also very thin. I was removing glue from the cheap battery tray and the dremel sanding drum just went through the glue and almost bumped into gelcoat! yeah, it is thin. I am keeping it stock, so we will see how it holds up. Added more watercooling and added kevlar to the battery section. Foamed the bow and the hatch cover for flotation. also opened up the ESC's, they are done cheaply. cooling plate is only touching half of the fets, so I am redoing that also. Will be a nice boat, but not RTR! But it looks really nice from the topside!
