I have a custom 1527/1D in excellent condition, 1/8" shaft end (8mm inside), no jacket though. They sell new for $260 at OSE. I'll sell it for $200 shipped. The only problem is I am out of the country now and couldn't ship it out until next Wednesday. LMK.

...and that is because? Not being rude here - the Octura flex couplers for 5mm shafts are usually better/truer than the ones for 8mm shafts. The 5mm shaft is plenty strong for 3/16" cable. Up to you....

It was custom ordered and took four months to get last year. The only thing not normal was the stepped down 5mm output shaft. At the time it was tough to get a 8mm coupler that didn't have too much runout, so I opted for the 5mm as I had plenty of straight 5mm couplers. The 5mm shaft is plenty strong - it's stronger than the 3/16" cable or the 3/16" stub shaft.

Your guess is as good as mine. The folks who sell them - Castle Creations - say 2160 rpm. The folks who make them - Neu Motors - say 2300 rpm. 6% is not enough to make any real difference, it is still a very high performance 4S motor
