Neu 1515/1Y/s and Mamba Monster Max

The Neu 1515/1Y/S was manufactured in May 2008 and has had maybe 2 dozen runs on it is a 1/8 scale converted Losi LST2. It has never been hot as I had a Nomadio temp guage on it. There is still a little silicone left on the can from where I attached the sensor. There is a flat ground on the shaft. There are some cosmetic defects on the can. The endbell bearing has been replaced with the larger flanged one. Runs great. The wires go with the MMM $158 shipped in CONUS.

Mamba Monster Max version 3. Great used shape with approx. 2 dozen runs. It has never been hot. The ON/OFF switch has been removed. $108 shipped in CONUS.

So the Mamba Max ESC worked OK with the Neu? Interesting. Any idea what kind of amps you were pulling?

It ran like a scalded dog on 5S.

No but I don't think it was too many.

The MMM works great with 4 pole motors such as the neu (the castle 2200 motor is basically identical to the 1515 1y.

I will attest to the castle escs with the newer firmware will work with pretty much any motor, inrunner, outrunner, whatever. Good programming...
