looking for BJ motor +- ESC

I think my BJ motor is going out and would like to replace it - doesn't have to be new just needs to be in perfect working order. Anyone have one with or without ESC they want to get rid of?

Willing to trade for 8L motor I have for sale.

I have a brand new Feigao 13L that will run just as good. Water jacket included, has no bullet soldered yet..

I first gotta get it out of the boat. I want to lube it up and take a look at the bearings. If I am going to race this class, would like to use new motor and keep this one for back up.

It was weird, it was revving up great until I jumped a buoy then it seemed to drop 5-10 mph and sounded like lower revs... not sure what happened, if it yanked on the drive line or knocked something loose???

Jesse, check that rear bearing and if there are any shims in it that get eaten. If you run a thrust bearing on the front then if the rear bearing has to much clearence the thrust bearing will be taking too much on it. I always tell people to leave a couple notebook paper thicknesses between the thrust bearing and motor case.

I will definitely check this cause I did slam the thrust bearing tight against the motor... thanks
