Scorpion Outrunner and Mega Inrunner motor 4 sale!

I've got a new Scorpion HK3026-1210 ($70 shipped) and a used but good Mega 22/30/2 ($80 shipped w/accessories). These are both good motors for 1/10th scale boats. I am also willing to trade either motor for a good Himax 3630-1500 or possibly a Blackjack A3630-1500 with a cooling jacket if you've got one. I would like to get one or two to run in any future NAMBA sanctioned events, but I'm too cheap to buy new if I may only use them once in a while. You can get details at the Classic Thunder For Sale Page and email me from there if you like. Thanks for looking.

Please forgive me for not posting photos with the original post. I should have read the rules.

I got the photos added to the original posting. Please forgive me. I'm new to the forum and should have paid closer attention. Thanks Meniscus for the heads-up and for the patience.

Dom, thanks for the nice welcome. I've had a great time learning about this hobby and things are changing all the time. I'm partial to 1/10th scale electrics, but I pick little tidbits from seeing what folks in all the classes of racing are doing. Places like this are where you can get a bunch of ideas and resources.

Update: The Mega 22/30/2 has been sold!

The Scorpion HK3026-1210 is still available and is brand new, never been run. It has 4mm plugs installed on it. Email me if your interested or ever have any questions about what we're doing over here at Classic Thunder. I always like talking about boats.

My biggest recommendation is to contact Lucien at Innov8tive Designs. They're the distributor of Scorpion outrunner motors in the USA. He really helped our club get started with outrunners and we've been more than happy with running the HK3026-1210 as our new spec motor for division 1 on 4s1p. I liked it so much that I decided to run the HK3026-1900 in my division 2 boat this season too, also on 4s1p. I've had no trouble whatsoever with them. I run them both with Castle 80 controllers if you can believe that. They are such efficient motors, that you can run much less amp draw for the same performance as other inrunner motors. Lucien should be able to give you better input as far as matching the right motor with your project if you give him some information. More and more fast electric boaters are considering outrunners and I think he's on the forefront of this application and is working to develope more products for marine applications from what I've heard. Give Innov8tive Designs a call and see what they recommend for what you're planning. Good luck with it!
