    Mean machine conversion rtr

    Sold Thank You.

This was my winter project that many of you followed on the boat building forum. It has been to the lake once for testing, and everything works fine. It is running "wet" and needs some trimming to reach it's full potential. The original plan was to build 2 so my partner and I could each have one along with our mono's. We hate to see it go, but unfortunately we have neither the time or money to continue.

It started as a flood nitro, bought the hull only. It has FDM hardware from a donor boat, Hacker 70 ESC, nemesis 11 turn XL direct drive, and will have a Hitec Aggressor radio and receiver. Add batteries and it's ready to run. The flex shaft is 3/16 - .187 and will handle up to 6S LIPO with the right ESC and motor. That was our original intent. It was tested with 4S LIPO and ran great. Just needs to get the nose up a little.

It's for sale ready to run (no batteries) for $250 plus actual shipping, or will part it out as long as the hull sells first.....make REASONABLE offers on parts. The condition of the boat is excellent with a few scratches in the decals. That's the way it came. Check the pictures. The second picture shows the tape down sub hatch, with raised motor area. Feel free to email with any questions.

Hull and hardware, servo, motor mount, sub hatch, and flex shaft.....$150 plus actual shipping.

Will only sell the motor and ESC if the hull sells.

        Thanks,

Are you SURE the flex is only 1/8"? Looks bigger than that. 1/8" would twist off immediately with that size motor/prop.

I put an 8XL in it that I had laying around for the first run

                    gps 35 mph

Runs nice and you do not have to let up to make a turn :)

I need a better camera (have to stop buying boat stuff)

Thanks for sharing the video. I agree it looks faster than 35 mph. Your lake may be too short to get a full GPS reading. Now you need to put in 5S LIPO and up the prop, but for sure you need a bigger lake. I can't see from the video, but it was running wet when we test ran it. You might squeeze a few more MPH by getting the nose a little higher. Enjoy it, and thanks again.

I think the quality of the camera makes the video look a little choppy and makes it look faster

I have yet to recharge to see how much I used but yes it was running low in the water so if I can get it up some it should go a bit faster
BUT boy does it corner NICE
