We were running it in my Losi 8ight buggy and the truck suddenly started cogging ...first we thought it was the Mamba Monster and switched esc's and it still cogged.......without checking anything else I decided to just send the motor in to Neu....there might not even be anything wrong with it...

at least when i get it back it will have a clean bill of health for sure

Just wondering, this would make a very nice 4S motor in 25-30" hull... I have had great luck with Neu motors,, personally I think they are the best out there..

yes I was going to use this motor in my MM that I'm rigging but decided to go a different route............you think I can hit a comfortable 50 mph and run cool with it?

I bet it would rip in a DF26 or DF29 for sure, easily mid 40's, probably upper 40's

In a MM, I'd say try it. Try with a X440, should yield mid 40's

That motor is better in a smaller hull,, say 25 DF mono.. In the M/M you could get around 40,, but high 40's and 50 would COOK the motor..

got this message from Neu this morning

"It may have been a problem with little insulation rubbing off from
vibration. I re-insulated the area and it does not cog now even with
hard bouncing. The motor is now in the shipping dept ready to be
shipped back"
