Peter, all I see on the icare site for the 40-160WK is "inquiry", no price.

ICARE, electrics, electric accessories, motor controller, brushless motor

Jay trust me I ordered one , I asked about the inquiry and they confirmed that the WK's were also on sale while stock lasts , I have three now and absolutely refuse to use anything else but the 40/160's on my high powered systems , I want the option on my sniper build to go back and forth from my 3080/7 to my 2230/1Y so I needed one more ESC

a 3080? Would that not be the equivalent to a furnace blower?

Not talking about the Schulze's, I agree they are the best. I may pick another up while they are on sale. I'm talking about the horror that is your life in having to choose,

Will I run the 3080 today or maybe the 2230, I just can't decide!!!

Mine has a 3080/8 in it. Perfect heat racing set up. But I need a hot motor for some SAWS!!

Not unless it is water cooled and they usually add a "W", "WO" or "WK" to the end.

                          Here are the specs:

                          future-18.149F:
For 6-18 Ni-Cd resp. Ni-MH cells resp. 2-5 LiPo cells. For motors up to 149A.
Intentional supplied with two 2,5 square-mm cables for each battery pole, which simply leads to two connectors on each battery pole. The result is a higher reliability of the connectors and lower losses in the leads.
All three motor terminals are special solder terminals to guarantee lowest losses and maximum reliability - especially important in a contest.
FAI- instead of helicopter program. Best suited for all applications in cars and wing aircraft, where you will not give away a single millivolt.
I did not see a water cooled version as available

Jim and I raced our last-generation P Sport Hydros with 8XL Hacker motors and the Schulze 18-149s just fine. They didn't get hot even when proped for oval racing. Those setups were with Ni-cells though, I don't know how one would work with LiPo power but a sport setup may be fine. We run Hydra 240s with water cooling in our larger P Sport boats now.

Holy cow! That's some pretty cool metal work. I have one on order as well from Icare. How did you get Neu motor with no fins? I may be interested in one of your mounts for my 2230/schulze combo.
