Titanium Turn Fins - New Design
I have been making Titanium turn fins for "P" and "P" Spec Sport Hydro's for 3 years now.
With the new speeds we are now achieving, some changes have been made to the design.
To reduce the hull from climbing up on the fin at the speeds that we are running today with the Tenshock motors.
The lead angle has been reduced from 30 degrees to 17 degrees.
Also the machined edge has been increased from 5 1/2 degrees to 7 degrees making it longer by 1/4" to 21/32" long.
I also added a curved - elongated hole for the break away bolt.
The Titanium plate is 0.073" thick
As you can see in the pictures, I have yet to put these in the hydraulic press. If anybody is interested in a straight fin
(NOT Bent), please let me know as soon as possible.
NEW Pricing-All in USD . My cost for the material, water jet cutting, hardware and shipping has all gone up.
I now have "Q sizes fins and brackets with hardware also.
P- fins -$70.00 shipped East of the Mississippi, Add $4.00 on the West side
P- Brackets -$10.00 -with hardware -$12.00 Shipping with a fin.$3.00 on the east and $4.00 on the west
