I have made a mold and am making Pearl hatches. I was told that the vacuum formed plastic ones don't hold up to well especially if your going fast. Well, I went fast and sure nuff, when I stuffed it, it turned into a jigsaw puzzle.
I have these basic colors red, blue, white, black, orange, and of course Huff Racing Yellow

Then I have some metallic colors or small flake/ glitter.

I can do larger flakes too

And I can make them plain white with a coat of primer ready for painting your hulls colors.

I leave them oversized so you'll need to cut/trim them to fit your model. They were sized to fit the P limited hull, but a friend tells me that they are oversized enough so that they'll fit the P hull also!!!
They fit into a large USPS flat rate box @ 24.95 so shipping will be $25.00
Hatches cost $50 for basic colors and primed. And $60 for the metallic and flake.
I have tried to do some in carbon fiber because that's what a lot of folks want. But after throwing away 5 of them because of bubbles, carbon is not available. I'll keep trying and maybe in the future I'll learn how to do them.

We will have to ask the VF master, Phil!
