1/10 Newton hull #102 hydroplane laser cut parts - SOLD.
Hull size 35.63" L x 15" W
Includes:
- Laser cut parts are based on Gary Finlay's plans (1956 Ted Jones Classic), but uses 1/16 Birch ply and 1/8" lite ply (instead of laminating balsa and 1/32 ply per plans).
- Laser cut bulkheads and side stringers (1/8" lite ply), top deck sheeting, sponson bottoms, sponson sides and rear non-trip sides (1/16" Birch ply). - Hydroscalecreations.com plastic cowling for Miss Rocket ('57), Coral Reef ('58-'62) or WayFarer's Club Lady ('66).
- Gary Finlay plans, instructions supplied as PDFs.
Needed to finish wood kit - not included:
- Bottom tunnel floor section (1/16" Birch ply, can be hand cut)
- Side chines (1/8" lite ply)
- All deck striping (I used Sitka Spruce on my U-22 Breathless), plus glue, epoxy, misc supports and other wood required for building and running hardware, not included.
