    Lehner 2280 13 turn ....Lower price

    For sale is a Lehner 2280 13 turn standard (non hi-amp) brushless motor. This comes with double water jackets and a motor coupler for a 3/16 (.187) flex cable. It has very little run time on it and is in excellent condition. This motor goes for $496 on FDM, add the water jackets and coupler, and you have a great value. All for $275 shipped USA.

        yes it would, but it would be a hot setup, I think Randy Naylor has the SAW record with that motor on his 1/8th scale bud... not so much for playing around for too long.

            Thanks UB for answering his question, because I really don't know. This motor was in a 36" Team Believer Cat, and it was loads of fun at 8S LIPO, and a rocket at 10S LIPO. Unfortunately we had no-one to run against, and never got to use it enough. Ice you may want to post this question in a different forum, where more people would see it. Sorry I couldn't give you a definite answer.

              The record was on 10s and the fun mode is most likely at 8s like Sparky here called it.
              It will also depend on the prop you use.

                  Our cat did mid to high 40's on 8S. If the 1/8 lighter and smaller it should be faster.

                      is there a way you can trim some "fat" off of her?
                      My 8 scale (the one you saw pics) is +- 10lbs fully loaded, but it
                      carrie's only 10s1p, with 10s2p it'll go up a bit. Never clocked the speeds.
