It looks like you followed my instructions. Somebody will have a good running boat.

              Actual length is 24.5".

                  Who makes it???

I wonder is a 6xl on 2S would make it boogie.

                      You newbies!

It's the UL-1 (the original, not the product of the same name by AquaCraft) which I manufactured for a few years around the turn of the century. I sold one set of molds to Randy Naylor of www.BBYRacing.com and he is still making them.

Since it appears to be a styrene rather than ABS model, I would say it's probably one that Randy pulled, rather than one that I did. The instructions were the same in either case (and they're still on my website - check the "Manuals" page).

This UL-1 is a scale model of the UL-72 Pocket Mechanic, the UL-125 WildFire, or the UL-10 Earls. The hulls are still on the water (Pocket Mechanic ran with Bud sponsorship for a while, UL-125 became the UL-10 but I don't know who is sponsoring it now). It's a Ron Jones design, and is extremely stable on rough water.

If you want to see a video of one on the water (2000 NAMBA Nats) then try looking for my link in the Miss Elam thread.

I will take it. I always wanted a hydro and this looks like a good one to start with.
