Selling my little vacation boat. 26" Joysway Offshore Infinity V-bottom with flood chamber. I bought the boat new about three years ago and stripped it down to the bare hull to fix some known issues with the hull when run faster than stock speeds. I reinforced the hull seam with chopped carbon fiber and epoxy around the entire perimeter of the hull, and reinforced the motor mount rails along the entire length, installed a carbon fiber stringer under the front deck, and another along the side of the hatch opening. The stock electronics were removed and replaced with a Leopard 2850 3850kV motor and Turnigy 60A ESC. I made a custom ESC mount from CF plate, modified the trim tabs to disturb less water around the prop, replaced all cooling lines, installed a neoprene hatch seal under the canopy, and modified the canopy attachment points for a strong hold.
The boat is a rocket and runs 45mph on 2200mAh 3S packs with a 435 CNC prop. It needs calm water or it will just take flight on bigger waves because of the speed. The boat does not self-right as well as it did stock, but a nudge from another boat or a good ripple in the water is usually enough to flip it over. Has a few small stress cracks in the gel coat and about a 1" chip in the front keel that appeared to have been an air bubble in the layup. I filled it with epoxy, sanded smooth, and put a layer of cloth and resin over it from the inside.
Includes controller, receiver, original box and packaging, spare flex cable, and 435CNC prop. Needs 3S 2200mAh (or similar) lipo battery. Price is $200 shipped UPS ground to the lower 48 US states.
