Up for sale is a Cheetah single drive cat, hull and hardware. This cat has a history. It has been run twice.
First run it went round the course to the back straight and kept going straight into a tree branch on the shore. I did the repairs using quality materials and minding not adding too much weight. The link provided shows the repairs and date. After I repaired it, I prepped it for paint and handed it to a local guy to put on the base coat and clear. It turned out very nice. Then I went to put in just a couple blobs of spray foam into the front of the sponsons, not much but enough to make the none repaired side crack a bit which I then repaired with MAS epoxy only. The repaired side did not split and so I still dug out as much as I could of the spray foam and put in just pool foam instead. Then I tried to run it in Michigan in 2019 but the ESC crapped out so I said screw it. I?m not finding such a large boat very easy to work on either these days in my wheelchair so I want to sell this. The weight as it is right now is approx. 5lbs hull with hardware and flotation and that?s trying to read a good spring scale. New, these are about $400 USD if they are available but SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pick up only in Milton unless Someone can help me find a box to ship it on the buyer?s dime.
Ask questions, I was trying to set it up for P Cat but never got it set up in the 2 runs I tried. The strut has BOCA captivated needle bearings that are held in with red Loctite and can easily be removed if need be. Strut is a cast Stainless steel Octura. It does have an extra hole on the top deck which was epoxied up with fiberglass tape under the hole. A decal can cover that up. There are a couple dings in the paint. One most noticeable is the edge of the cowl. The sponson trailing edges were sanded free of some paint in order to make the hull break from the water surface better.
