Something about the need for speed...it will be a slow re-entry into RC. When I got out 10 years ago - I was all out: everything went.
I have been watching over the years as records fell and the speeds increased. So why not give it another attempt. The IMPBA record I set ~10 years ago for Q (~115mph) was only the 'third' run through the traps for the boat before I hit the bank in Flint.
I had benefited greatly at the last Trials in Flint I attended by Mr. Grim performing a tweak on my prop adding almost 10mph; even still the prop came back bent. I obviously need to learn to heat treat better, have them done by someone who knows what they are doing or go to stainless?Reesor Boat WorksComment

Great to hear from you Steve! Lots has changed in the prop world with the introduction of the new style ABC high rake props. Brian Buaas does VERY nice prop work which includes heat treating.
Hope to see you at the pond in 2021!
Later,
