Up for Sale is a New in the Box Scale model kit of the U-95 Unlimited Hydroplane in 1/8th Scale.
Worlds first competitive Turbine powered Unlimited Hydroplane raced in 1974.

High quality marine plywood kit with fiberglass cowlings and engine cover. Some hardware included such as dual rudder.
Graphics and plans included with this kit.
Complete kit to build the model in the photos

Added a collection of Octura, Prather and Dumas Propellers. 3 bronze, 3 molded glass nylon. Stainless steel strut, connectors and motor collect connector. Photo shows dual rudder kit, spare fuel tank, fuel filter, radio box waterproof push rods. A little over $100 in hardware value.

Items not included: paint, driver figure, motor (nitro, gas or fast electric brushless motor), drive shaft, propeller, turn fin.

Can you tell me who manufactured the kit?

Hello, I don't know the person who made these kits. I know It is not from a large model manufacturer like dumas. I believe it to be a short run of 25 to 50 kits as the parts are laser cut (not home shop cut) or stamp cut like small production shop would do. I have an article from the 90's on building the U-95 model and I believe the designer took the plans and had a short run kit done and then sold the additional kits to help fund the model they wanted.
I can include copies of the article and background research I did along with the kit.
