    (6) Neu 1415 Motors – Modified to 62mm

    Started a New/Updated Sale Thread

I’ve got these six (6) modified Neu 1415 motors up for sale. These motors do not fit any current NAMBA or IMPBA limited or spec classes for national rules in the books.
However, check with your local club as some are running their own rules for limited/spec classes with max motor dimensions of 37mm x 62mm. These motors will fit those rules.
I have heard that some racers have already bought these motors direct from Neu and intend on running them this 2018 season. Don’t be left in their wake.

I have checked in with the IMPBA FE Director to confirm if there would be any objections to these motors being sold in the open market at this time. I was offering to hold off until a time they deemed more suitable as to not interfere with any rule considerations they are undergoing. I was given a blessing to sell.

Please no messages or discussions here other than serious buyers.

These motors will also be available on RC Groups for those whom may want to purchase there more discreetly with no PM message rules.
These motors cost between $279 to $319 depending on wind due to extra machining costs on all and special wind costs on the 1.25Y motors.

I have the following motors for sale at $200 each shipped within CONUS.
I’ll do $190 each for two or more.
PayPal Only. No Private Messages on OSE.
Will ship USPS priority and you could have these in your hands in days, not months.

        No they are not.
I'm not going to get into tit for tat between the motors and bring down OSE's motor in any way. It can simply be said that you can buy those OSE Raider 3660 motors from OSE or Neu Motors directly for $75 to $80. While these Neu 1415 motors as stated in the ad cost between $279 and $319 from Neu and more closely resemble what OSE sells for $220.
        https://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pr...?prod=neu-1415

Difference why these 1415s cost more is because they have custom machining done on them to met the 62mm length requirement and 1 motor has a custom wind which costs extra. Also... OSE orders their 1415s in bulk and get a price brake from Neu which is why OSE can sell them cheaper. If you went straight to Neu Motors and tried to buy the same 1415 1Y motor that OSE sells... it'd cost you $259.

So if you don't care about the length being 68 to 70mm you can buy from OSE at $220 or from me at $200 or $190 for more than one. If you need/want a 1415 motor which is just below 62mm long then I have them here for you at $200 or $190 for more than one. Otherwise you'd have to go to Neu directly and the cost would be between $279 to $319 depending on which motor (wind) you buy.

Thank you for your time explaining to me what you have. Sounds like a good deal. They can be used in limited P class, M spec class or both?
