HD motor mount for 4in rails with ESC mount

Sorry - no longer for sale. Found a use for it. Another bundle find. Looks unused. 25mm hole spacing for motor. 91mm overall length. Front and rear parts have recesses where the motor would fit. For some reason the front is 46mm diameter while the back recess is 50mm. Motor length of about 87mm should fit snug. $30 shipped in the lower 48. Paypal.

I believe it’s 7071 aluminum. I recommended one of these mounts to a friend building an 1/8 scale Blue Blaster. Putting a 56mm Leopard in. I never saw the mount in person, but he sent me pics and says the workmanship is really nice!

Craig, that does look the same but it might look the same but it's the recess inside each end is in question as they are having two different diameters. . .perhaps it was custom made for a specific motor?

Yes, I see the difference now... The one in the pic I posted is from Steve on the OSE site. It actually looks much better. The other one has some rough machining and I think you guys are right, it looks plated and it’s not anodizing, so it’s not aluminum. Man that’s got to have some weight on it! Perhaps zinc? Strange material selection... Aluminum is a no-brainer! The one I posted does have an upper tray for the ESC, it’s just not on in this pic. You can see the holes for it though...

Is this heavy compared to what you’d expect for aluminum? It looks to have an unusual plating on it... we are trying to figure out what material it is made from.

Hadn't really thought about it. Not all that heavy, but I'll throw it on the scale when I get home. Magnet test too.

Aluminum, at least that's my thought. Can see some rough machining on it. Holes through it and the threads in other spots are smooth so it doesn't appear to be cast. Took a grinder to the bottom edge to make sure it wasn't plated. Comes in at a little over 4 oz.
Need to apologize to those who might have been considering buying it. I took out my old Neu 1521 and except for the wires out the back of the motor, it should be a perfect fit. Gonna keep this one for the P-mono build.
Another lighter mount is going to be posted shortly.
Have to blame this mix up on the cold meds.
