    Wildthing P-Mono

Needing to clear out some shelf space. Starting off with a scratch built Wildthing mono. Altered the original plans to make this 33.5" long and 10.75" wide. Pink Styrofoam was fitted in the front third of the hull. Remainder is coated in carbon fiber. Motor mount fits a Neu 1521. Servo is Hitec 645MG. Speedmaster hardware with 3/16 flex. Flooded shaft setup allows for easy height adjustment. Hatch is ply with pink foam upper covered in fiberglass. Very solid boat that comes in just under 4 lbs as pictured. Small bit of road rash on the right front as pictured. Had one ESC give out in it and couldn't quite get the smell out - not that noticeable. Plenty of room for 2 - 4s packs for Offshore style heats. Decals are printed water slide decals sealed with clear. Scuff them with sandpaper and they should wash right off. $130 shipped in the lower 48. Can consider outside the states with postage adjustments. Post questions here - follow forum rules.

Adding on a couple extras. Extra 3/16 flex that can be cut as a replacement. Drive dog, and your choice of a 5mm or 8mm to 3/16 coupler. Pic below.

How much did you change the length and width from original?

Bought the plans a number of years ago. Originally a 32 inch hull designed for .21 mono class. I blew up the plans at Kinkos to make it 33.5". I had built a smaller one at 28" for the old P-Ltd class (with Nimh!) and had good luck with that.
John Finch's plans did not call for strakes. A number of guys in the nitro club had tried different strakes on theirs over the years, but the original no strake design worked best for them. This one wasn't always the fastest on the pond, but I always passed them when they were upside down.

Lee, can you post up a few side shots? What are the sexiest angles to view this guy? Killer price!

I'll set up the photo booth when we get home. Skol Vikings.

Meh Vikings. Then we get to trudge to work in the morning with 5" of new snow. That's all supposed to build character right?

                  Few more shots as requested.

I don’t want to step on toes. so if it’s still available I’ll take it.

OK. Tapatalk stopped notifying me on this thread since the 13th. Was curious as to why anatoliy was interested. Usually runs nitro with the WI guys. Might have been a bit much to convert.
Greenblast - it's yours. PP addy to follow. Getting home late Saturday so hopefully will ship on Monday.
