I have all I need, and didn’t pay more than $350 for either of them. I have had them awhile....

BTW, just because someone wants $875 for them doesn’t mean a buyer will pay that.

Schulz is a great name but without support when they fail- its not worth me buying one!! I’ll stick with MGM with a good warranty and good service!!! That’s my opinion!!

Brings up a good question..... What IS a good ESC for higher current applications that is readily available? I've heard everything from 1/5 car controllers to modified CC airplane controllers. I use Castle 240's, but they have since been retired (although Castle claims to be getting back into the boat biz soon!?).

None really. There are some aircraft and Heli esc’s rated at 200A but they don’t work well in boats. I have looked into producing my own, but it would take $250k and the controllers would be close to $500 to build and no profit.

Ripped off? Bahahaha. I paid $625 for mine 10 years ago. Sold it back when it seemed a reliable alternative had surfaced. I was wrong. It's all er nothing with MGM. They're either perfect or useless. Schulze was every time perfect.

Pete, get a Mamba XLX. Take it out of the case, conformal coat it, slap it in an old hydra 240 case. I have spray if you need it. Worth getting some article silver to out it back together.
