    Neu Motor - 1410/2Y/S/5MM

    I have this unused Neu 1410/2Y - 1850kv

    $45.00 shipped within CONUS
No PMs, First to say I'll take it gets it.
    Also listed on RC Groups.com

    Description off Neu Motors Website:
The 1410/2Y/SE is designed as a lower cost version of our popular 14XX series motors. It has a little smaller rotor diameter rotor but to makeup for that the stator is a bit longer. The Kv for this motor is 1850 with a no-load current of 1.4 amps. Weight is 205 grams. Diameter is 36.5mm and is 58mm in length. The output shaft is 5mm. We are offering a limited time special on these motors of $99. This motor is a good match for the MidiFan running 6 or 7S and drawing 60-80 amps with thrust in the 70-90oz range. The 1410/2Y also will make a prop plane move right along too with a 8x5 prop and a 3S battery it will draw 50 amps and with 7x7 prop 45 amps.
Neu Motors is now selling these for $49.95 plus shipping costs.

Probably something no larger than 30" on 4S and used for sport with no large amp draws.

          To clarify BTW...
Bp9145 sent a PM on RC Groups wanting to know if this would be a good motor for use in a 27" boat on between 6S to 10S with a goal of achieving 80 mph.
In so many words... I told Bp9145 that this motor would not serve that purpose well. I think most would agree with that assessment.

Bp9145 never responded here or on RC Groups after several hours, so another person on RC Groups said they would take it.

Dave I wished you would have given me just a little more time to respond. If I remembered correctly you have given people the next day to respond. I had an unfortunate situation and was unable to respond. I was waiting for your thoughts/answer about my questions and I didn't get on here until I got home just now.. .1:45am. .I would have taken it. . .it's alright.

Sorry, but based on your statement that you'd "like" to take but first want questions answered... combined with your wanted use just not being realistic, I assumed you were not going to want it. I'd suggest in the future that if your questions have no baring on you actually taking an item, just say "I'll take it".
I don't hold items until someone decided they actual want it. It goes to the first person whom says they want it and are ready to pay.

Brian... either the Neu 1409 or 1415 I have for sale would be a much better options for what you are trying to do. They are a far better quality motors than that 1410 motor and thus they can handle more amps. The 1415 would be best, but if you're really worried about size the 1409 may serve the purpose.
The 1410 motor was a mass production motor from China that Neu tried as an experiment that I believe failed. Quality was not good and that's why they were being sold so cheap. The 1409 and 1415 motors I have are typical hand built quality from Steve Neu.

I also have some unused Tenshock 6-Pole motors that I will be putting up for sale over the next couple days. The one I think may serve you is an EDF TS-EZ 2230/10T 2020kv. It is 36mm dia by 52mm long. Probably 6s is the most you'd want to do which would be nice to keep the weight down in a 27" boat. I have 2 of those and will be offering them at $85 each or both for $165 shipped. These sell for $120 each through Tenshock.
                  Have fun with that....

Thank you Dave for giving me other options. I appreciate you keeping me in mind and getting back to me. I will certainly consider the other motors, more so with the Tenshock motor as it is in my price range that I'm willing to spend. The reason for my interest with the 1410 was the low price but I'm glad you told me the reason for the incredibly low price of $45. . .appreciate it bud.
