Selling an Atomik Barbwire XL 24 self righting RTR boat that looks and runs like new. The stock ESC has been replaced with a Turnigy 60A ESC to support larger motor upgrades. The ESC is fitted with an EC5 battery connector and 4mm Castle bullets on the motor wires making the leopard motor upgrade plug and play. The motor mount has already been widened to accept a larger collet on an upgraded motor. The stock plastic rudder assembly had a lot of slop in it so I replaced it with a Voracity rudder that I cut down, tapered, sharpened and added a break away pin. The rudder is slightly longer than the stock rudder and has two built in water inlets for cooling. The servo mount was modified to align the servo horn inline with an upgraded steering rod and rudder ball joint
The boat is ready to go and needs only a 3S battery. On the stock outrunner motor, the boat runs fantastic, handles exceptionally well, and is very stable. I just ran the boat last weekend. The flex cable was pulled, cleaned, and re-greased. Run the boat as-is or drop in a Leopard 2850 motor and make it a rocket. Included is the original box and packing, stand, transmitter/receiver, lipo charger, spare prop, and original rudder. I ran the boat on 2200mAh 3S Turnigy Graphene 65C packs that fit perfectly in the preformed stock battery location. This pack is as large as you can fit in that location.
I am asking $200, Paypal and shipping to the continental US included. The boat will be expertly packed as I would expect it to be shipped to me. The boat is for sale on other forums as well.
