So send $200 then a 2nd payment for shipping? I can do that.

As far as a box, you could probably get it a cheap box at Home Depot, Lowes, etc and cut it down. I ship a LOT of packages and as long as one band of tape goes fully around both ways there's no prob. If the item can't shift inside the box and stiff padding on sharp edges, little short of alien abduction will be a problem. FedEx seems to be more expensive, but then again I forgot about insurance.

    Edit: initial $200 payment sent.

Box is coming along nicely. No M545 prop I borrowed it and the guy lost his shaft and my prop. I know he bought me a new one but it is not in my prop box. Got a second choice?
      Sorry lost internet damn Aliens.....

Got the $193.90 PP Fee $6.10 .......we always just send money to a friend avoiding the fee.

Box just about done any idea on a different prop X642 or M645?

I can send the $6, that's no prob. The reason I don't send "friends and family" is that it offers both sides less protection. I'm not saying I don't trust you, I'm just pragmatic in that way.

The x642 will be perfect. One thing I'd recommend is a hard-to-puncture sheet of plastic in front of the bow tip, the side of a water bottle would suffice. It would prevent the tip from piercing the foam in a very hard impact. Just let me know what the shipping is and I'll send it plus the extra. I work from home so I can monitor this frequently, and it helps I'm a bit excited about it.

Fine on my way to FedEx all is good. talk to you when I get back with tracking. Foam and thick cardboard by the nose, plus I taped the boat to the stand and then taped the stand to the box. Its not going anywhere plus big bubble rap and news papers. Prop is in a Rx plastic box taped in place and marked on the outside of the box.

Dumb question - was this new as in trim tabs never messed with? I'm only curious in case I have to make strut & tab adjustments.

Strut is set I have put two dots were I was going to drill and add 2-56 brass screws with lock nuts. So if you hit anything the strut will not move from its setting. Trim tabs I did not check them out. I would leave them just straight which is above the running surface. The one thing I would say is go easy with high speed turns at first I had to slow my steering down on my FUTABA radio as it wiil do a 180 like right now. remember running for fun while turning LEFT cooling water is reduced a bit. What I did on my last Revolt was drilled the ruddertop to bottom and added a small brass scoop sticking out maybe .020-.030". This way I always had max cooling. Just a heads up turn RIGHT too cool every thing off.

Tracking # in PM message cost to ship with ins $21.45. Very cool best thing is they told me it will be in your hands tomorrow !!!!

I found my rudder mod if you care to do it later. Fill in the stock hole in the blade facing forward, I used water pickup tubing off the Aquacraft 27 to install into the rudder bottom then drill to specs. Works great.IMG_1328.JPG

Great and GREAT! Thanks again. I sent the 2nd payment to cover the rest.

If I get it running this weekend I'll post up a vid. With luck the Garmin GPS watch I scored off ebay will be here too.

I used Dr. tongue stick to shim 4s battery to the left or port side while in the center location. You wil find moving the battery front to rear also has an affect on the boat too. Have fun keep good notes they come in handy. I also left cooling hose long on the ESC so you can also move it front to rear.

Has anyone talked to Mike lately? I sent a message June 6th to try resolving issue with the shipping damage. I've also tried calling his phone. I'm not very happy so far, I can't technically use the boat yet.
