    Exceed Racing 28" mono, modified...

    SOLD

This was a slow waste of time in stock trim. I pulled the electronics out of this hull after the first run, and replaced it with all the electronics from a Venom King of Shaves P1 mono. That includes a 2000kv outrunner, 60amp ESC, Atomic/Venom receiver and transmitter. It uses a 0.130" flex shaft, and runs on one 3s pack. I have an Octura x640 prop on it that is included, along with the stand pictured. There is one area that the paint spider-web cracked. I filled it, wet-sanded and cleared over it to keep it from getting worse or chipping. The hatch has no magnets or fasteners. I always taped it, and it has never been wet inside. I'll snap a picture of the transmitter Wednesday afternoon, and update this post.

I've used this boat for my niece and nephew to run at the lake. It's fun and stable, but a little too quick for them. I just bought a Pro Boat Shockwave 26 (the newer green one) to replace this Exceed hull with a little bit of a slower one, yet still cool looking. I'm actually kind of regretting it, now, because the Shockwave is going to need a lot of corrections to improve on the poor quality as it comes, but I'll make it work because it does look cool in that green. I'll miss this Exceed mono, though.

    $155 shipped within the US.

    Thanks,
    Michael P.

Last two images here, you can see the spider-web in the paint, and my modest repair.

5mm bullets installed on the ESC. The motor mount is the one from the KOS hull. I cleaned the old epoxy off floor of this hull, and bonded this motor mount to it with West Systems G-flex 655.

I'll take this as well, perhaps you can give me a slight break on pricing for both the props and this boat. . .I've always liked this boat but unfortunately this the boat that a gator got hold of when it stalled on the pond behind my house. It was a mess but I know I still have the remaining parts stored in one of the boxes up in the attic. Now I'll have spare parts for it unless you just want to sell just the hull. . .maybe? lol

You're the best Michael. It's always a great pleasure doing business with you. Funds have been sent. Oh, BTW. .this will be an RTR correct with the addition of the TX that you mentioned you will post a picture on Wednesday which is not necessary anylonger unless you still want to. I'm assuming you are including the TX. Thank you again for making a great deal even sweeter . . .
            Regards,
            Brian

Thank you Michael and I'll let you know when it gets here. Just curious if anyone knows the fastest response time to "I'll take it" here one OSE. .maybe I'm up there?

Hi Michael, the boat came in two days ago but I was out of town to see my grandsons. Well, I came home late last night, I opened the well packed box and found the boat in excellent shape. It felt very familiar in my hands and after I lost this boat a few years back due to an unfortunate accident, it feels great to have it back in my fleet once again. .I had a big smile. I'm very happy you took great care of it because it looks great. Thank you again and as usual, it was a pleasure doing business with you.
                    Regards,
                    Brian
