This was a slow waste of time in stock trim. I pulled the electronics out of this hull after the first run, and replaced it with all the electronics from a Venom King of Shaves P1 mono. That includes a 2000kv outrunner, 60amp ESC, Atomic/Venom receiver and transmitter. It uses a 0.130" flex shaft, and runs on one 3s pack. I have an Octura x640 prop on it that is included, along with the stand pictured. There is one area that the paint spider-web cracked. I filled it, wet-sanded and cleared over it to keep it from getting worse or chipping. The hatch has no magnets or fasteners. I always taped it, and it has never been wet inside. I'll snap a picture of the transmitter Wednesday afternoon, and update this post.
I've used this boat for my niece and nephew to run at the lake. It's fun and stable, but a little too quick for them. I just bought a Pro Boat Shockwave 26 (the newer green one) to replace this Exceed hull with a little bit of a slower one, yet still cool looking. I'm actually kind of regretting it, now, because the Shockwave is going to need a lot of corrections to improve on the poor quality as it comes, but I'll make it work because it does look cool in that green. I'll miss this Exceed mono, though.
$155 shipped within the US.
Thanks,
Michael P.
