    Tiapan 6S rigger

Selling for my good friend Paul Stirton. This Tiapan 6S rigger is really nice and wicked fast, has repeatedly turned sub one minute heat race times. 36" long front sponson tip to transom. The black on the tub sides is actually carbon veil to increase strength. Needs only your 6S lipo, RX and RX battery to be race ready (flexshaft and prop included, not in pics). Replacement parts are readily available from Paul Osmond who makes the Tiapans. $1500 plus shipping owns it.

Price dropped to $1250 plus shipping, also listed for sale on other forums.

What's the average speed in oval trim? And would he be interested in possibly selling just the complete hull and hardware minus electronics? Also I can't see any of the photos for some reason.

With the heat times Paul told me it turns I'd figure upper 70s to low 80s easy. He does not want to split it up and honestly I wouldn't want to either, it's a dialed in ballistic set up so why mess with it.

Was it faster than your electric Crapshooter?

Well I have not run it but Paul is a close trusted friend so I'd say most likely as fast based on the heat times he turned down under.

No I built it. It is what an FE Shooter would be like if Stu built one but he doesn't. He knew about it when I did it and was cool with it as long as I didn't call it a Crapshooter which I did not.

Ken Haines has that boat now, looking forward to racing him one day in Q hydro.

I waited until it sold. Parts of this hydro resemble the riggers Steve Reesor used to build, mainly the sponsons and rear shoes. I remember his P, Q and open Hydros were of this level of speed and they handled amazing.

I hope to see this and others run some day. Great machine, Kudos!

.45 would be about the same
