Fightercat Daytona 37" Fiberglass hull w/Carbon inlay and Mounts

Bought this 37in, fiberglass Fightercat Daytona from another OSE member AFTER it had been damaged by shipping. I made the repairs to the transom and began to rebuild the hull, but I have too many projects now. In the pictures you'll see the hull before the shipping damage, the repairs I made, and the current state of the hull as it sits right now. After the repairs, the transom is now much stronger than before. It has a carbon fiber inlay done by tiqueman. I'm not sure if he or someone else installed the rest of the original interior and hardware. I am selling the hull with or without the Futaba S9551, low-profile, high speed/torque servo, and rudder. Please read carefully below for pictures and detailed descriptions.

These are the images of how the boat was ORIGINALLY ASSEMBLED, prior to the damage it sustained when shipped. It was shipped with the rudder attached, and when the box was compressed, the rudder pushed the transom upwards, separating it at the seam. The original owner parted out this hull after the damage so the black hardware is not included, nor is the ESC cover.

This is the transom as I was repairing it with carbon fiber across the top (inside to heal the cracks in the fiberglass) and the West Systems G-flex 655 epoxy pour. I filled the cracks with marine epoxy and then filled with gel coat, sanded and polished. You can see the thickness of the epoxy-pour in the holes I drilled for the cooling lines to the rudder.

These are the current images of the rebuild progress. I did not move the motor mounts or battery trays, but I did replace the stuffing tubes as the orignals were kinked (see photos above). Teflon liners will be needed for whatever size flex cables you want to run. The holes are still there from the original struts, like these ( http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=ose-80105 ) which will require the Daytona plates/shims. I sealed the holes in the floor of the tunnel from the old servo mount and epoxied in the new mounting standoffs. I was going to also fill the holes where the old ESC cover was bolted through the floor, but I did not get that far. I'm just not a fan of holes and bolts through the bottom of the hull. I also thought about relocating the water outlets on the sides of the hull to move them away from the motors a bit, but they are still where they were installed, orginally. The servo is not screwed to the mount, yet, because I did not drill the holes. They are marked to be drilled for whatever size screws will be used. I was going to replace the servo arm with something else, but the large disk is still on there just from when I installed the rudder push/pull rods and links. The trim rings in the transom are for the large diameter tubing. I had some black tubing in some of the pictures just for show/mock fitment. The last image shows the shipping container, and there are some loose parts in there that will not be in the box when it ships, just to be clear. Very specifically, the hull, hatch, rudder, servo, servo mount, pushrods & links, black antenna mounts, black water outlets, and aluminum cooling line trim rings are everything included in this sale, just as it appears in these images.

I'm interested in your boat ,I want to run on 5-6s can I get 4 lipos in there? I had a Zonda and it was tough to get the batteries to fit ,

You might be able to, but it will be a very tight fit. In fact, you'd probably want to remove these battery trays and get the lipo's as close the floor as possible for more room.

I'll see if I can test-fit some packs in this hull, tomorrow, & post pic's if I'm successful.

Here are a few LiPo packs I have (2s, 3s & 6s). A 3s, 4,000mAh LiPo fits fine with plenty of room for a second on the same side. A 3s, 6,500mAh LiPo fits fine, but not enough room for a pair in each sponson. And last, a 6s, 5,000mAh LiPo will not fit. Even if you pulled out the battery trays, I doubt it would go in there easily once you have your ESC's mounted on the tunnel. Does this help answer your question?

I've never put this hull in the water - just repaired the transom, mounted the rudder, the servo, and replaced the stuffing tubes. Plus I filled the holes in the hatch for countersink/flush hatch bolts, but I have not drilled them yet. That's as far as I've gotten & now I have too many other things going on to continue with this boat.
