I know the esc has been sold but I was wondering what the recall/repair problem was as I have the same model esc and have not powerd it up yet.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I can tell you, they send you a small piece of hard foam like square thar goes on top of the control board to hold it down so it don't pop up and short out. just take the top with 4 screws off put foam block on with small amount ofor glue put back together
