What's the story on the big blob of what looks like foam?

Yes that is a two part high density foam mainly there for increase strength, and it holds the steering linkage, brass cooling tube, and stuffing tube in check. It may look strange but extremely functional.

What kind of flex you running there?

And what is the top speed you've achieved with it?

So I have a neu 1521 and a 189 amp esc. That would be perfect for this on 6s ? What kind of top spee would I expect. The motor is 1850 kv

3/16. I never gps the boat. But it has the potential to see triple digits. I ran a 1527 .5y in it on 6s before I detuned it with the 1521 1.5 and it smoked the water!

Speeds would depend on prop tuning, but 80's to 90's is not out of the question. I had a 1527 .5y in it at one time on 6s and it was ballistic!
