Thread Editing..........

After 10 minutes a thread will no longer be able to be modified. This is to stop the altering of an item description after the item is sold. This had been brought to my attention a couple of times. Nothing that wasn't handled between the two parties, but still an issue that needed to be addressed.

So now if you want to mark an item as sold, just simply reply to the thread, stating the "Item is Sold" or use the smiley.

Can you add a feature to tag the thread SOLD? Like RCGroups?

I hate reading a sale thread, then finding out I'm too late at the END of the thread to see it sold.

It was convenient to have the thread starter tag the item in th OP as

ex: A big thread with one item I'm interested in, I'd want to act quickly on that item! Under these conditions, I'll have to read each and every post about all the other items I have no interest in, as well as the jokes & comments that are posted in sale threads (I'm guilty of that) to find out if the item I want is still available. Or I can simply be a fool and post that I want an item that has already been sold. Kinda stinks if you ask me.

If it must be this way, then please allow us to edit the title of the thread at least, to mark the item sold, and no more multiple sale threads. Because the thread can't be marked sold if there are still items to be had.

I agree it would be a pain to read thru it all to figure out what was sold or not...
maybe people should start posting 1 item per selling thread that way it would not be too many posts to read.

I just took a quick look. Very, very few threads have multiple pages. So figuring out if a item is sold, should be about 1 more step from what it was before. Click the thread, than just scroll to the bottom to see if its gone or not. The only glitch will be multiple item threads. In that case, the easiest thing to do is make a post for each item. Please tell me if I'm missing something?

on my other forums its free but yo can get a platinum membership for like 2 dollars a month, that platinum membership lets you have more PM's stores in your in box ( i have about 500 stored on my other forum) . a higher KB loading thing more pictures. a signature picture, and such for like 2-5 dollars a month. and all the other fancy things

After 10 minutes, the post is un-editable, but one can append the OP for status updates?
That will resolve all the issues and we can still have multiple item threads.
