New Lehner 3080/5 HiAmp LK "Twin Wind-12 connection" with 5" Peter Zicha Motor Mount

    Guys,
I am assisting a friend Anbjorn Hansen in Norway with the sale of his Lehner 3080/5 HiAmp LK motor with twin parallel winds allowing for two controllers to drive the motor. The motor also includes a custom Peter Zicha 5" motor mount to suit a mono with twin controller mounts. Please note: the Schulzes shown in the pics are not available with the motor. Motor kv is 1050 in Delta and 600 in Wye.

You can connect two SF 300's or similar controllers to drive this high power set-up. The motor connections can also be parallel to return the motor to a standard 6 wire version and of course you can connect in Wye to reduce he KV. 10AWG wire has been soldered onto the magnet wire making connections easier to the controller.

LMT has produced very few of these 12 wire motors. If you are looking for an open class mono power system or perhaps a SAW project, here is your solution.

Asking price is $850 plus shipping. This motor and mount will be listed on other sites. Please post any questions here and first to say "I will take it" gets priority.

    Tyler

Tyler. Could you post a perfered setup for this, battery's, what cell count and mah. what would the advantage be? Other than being easier on a single esc for amp draw.. Thanks Paul

        Paul,

This would work best in a single mono like a DF Sniper, Calcraft gas mono or Rico offshore. Likewise you could round off the bottom of the mount and put it in a cat like a AM conquest or Avenger.

I would say a pair of Swordfish 300 Lites would fit nicely in place of the 40.160wk's. Batteries should be a 10S2P with a minimum of 10,000 total, but preferably more. This is a full blown T power system.

The 3080's have huge power potential but the limitation has been no single controller with the exception of the MGM 80063 can adequately power this motor. Twin old 40.160WK's would be the next best set-up, but the controllers are hard to find. SF300's should work nicely.

            Hi there gents!

Just to clarify some details about this motor.
The motor is currently in Tylers hands in US, and knowing him correctly I am quite sure it is ready to ship.
I paid quite alot more than the asking price for the motor and mount. It have never been run other then whatever testing done by Lehner prior to delivery.

Please post here if you think the price is too high or have further questions.
I am not able to be on here so much so I thrust Tyler to answer.

            Thanks, and cheers from Norway.

              Bump for interest.

              This is still available.
If there is interest in splitting up the mount from the motor, let me know.

                Hi Tyler and Anbjørn

would it be interesting to accept another motor as partly payment e.g a Lehner 3040/7 or a 2260/4?

I can pick it up and bring my motors next time I'm in Oslo

                  Hello Finn,

I will ask Anbjorn, but I believe he is getting out of most boats except for a few. The motor and mount are in the US so it would need to be shipped back to Norway.

                      Brian,

I can offer the motor without mount and shipped/insured to Denmark for $700 USD.

Finn, Anbjorn is not looking for trades at this time.

                              Brian,

It is a pretty nice deal considering the flexibility of the motor. We can work something out for shipping and customs. I don't know if it is easier to ship an item within Europe compared to from the US to Denmark. I am travel to Germany several times a year and can easily ship it from Germany to Denmark if that helps with customs.
