Built this as a prototype. It's a wooden hull (pine wood) designed in a 3d program (similar to CAD) and hand-made by a highly skilled violin maker (my dad). I did a carbon inlay. The hatch was coated with epoxy on the underside and also painted, then cleared with automotive grade clear coat and is very durable. The hull itself was not clearcoated the same way but rather epoxied instead. I did not sand the outside which made the epoxy begin to peel. Easy fix! No damages overall. A few imperfections here and there. Built to be very reliable and tough. The weight is acceptable for an rc boat and it's amazing in corners and straight line. After extensive testing on water I can finally put it up for sale as I'm very satisfied with how it runs! It was doing a solid 50+ mph on 6s (1600kv)
Dimensions: 38" in length (without tail wing) without hardware. With hardware it's around 42-43" in total, width is 11" at the widest part (mid section).
I can sell this with or without the motor/esc/servo, just bare hull and hardware, or I can sell it as pictured with a leopard 1600kv motor (4082) which is basically new, a swordfish 200A esc (fully waterproof coated in epoxy), and a savox servo.
Price: Hull and hardware only (no electronics) $250 shipped. With motor, esc, and a servo $400 shipped.
The prop cable is included. I will also include a prop.
