Sorry, but i was under the impression that these motors were new/unused and they both have screw marks on end caps, the 1940 is faded where a water jacket was on it & run, and both shafts ground (roughly)for flat spots. I don't know if I misread the description but not sure on this.

FYI for the nosey people not involved with this deal but watching this thread. I'm going though hundreds of items to do a big favor and sell for a friend to help supplement his retirement. Going on my friends recollection on usage, I was off on the cosmetic description of the motors. In a PM i apoligized and i offered the buyer full refund on this deal. Haven't herd a from him, I sense & hope the buyer realized he still got a great deal and is satisfied.
