    xs2 for sale

I am putting my old xs2 up for sale. It has had a hard life but still in good shape. Comes with fullers rudder, solinger strut, .150 flex, x637 S&B prop, 7xl feigao, turn fin mount but no fin & servo. The stuffing tube was moved and glassed up well runs very well. Only needs radio, esc and a 4s pack and you are away. This boat was used to learn about rigger and hydro set ups and is a milestone for me but have to many and have out grown this one. My camers is flat but will post pics tomorrow. This vid is as is now except for the motor.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5EHpaUmqns
Asking $ 250.00 US shipped anywhere. This is a fair price for a very fast boat. As I said it is a bit rough but very sound. Faster than an SV and cheaper!

Sorry Steve my camera was flat, here you go

Jan my friend they are not brass just big!! Ha Ha . I agree it is small but I just use for testing. It means all my boats turn real well and as it chops up easily due to the confined sides I find my boats handle short sharp chop better than most when we go to the larger lakes to race.

          Hey Andy,

What sort of speed do you expect it to do with a 7XL on 4s?

Depending on conditions and prop 60mph + the boat is just as fast as in vid with the 7xl. I would recomend a taipan small turn fin as well

If you don't mind what ESC would be a good match?

I was using a hydra 240, but I am thinking a Etti 150 would be good.

looks like a lot of boat for $250, for those of us who don't know all the numbers, howbout an overall length? I asume you ran it on a 4X5000? any feel for amp draw on this setup?
                    Thanks much

Did the lipos go right up in the nose ? ( what size did you use)
Is there much room for the esc between the lipos and the motor or did the esc fit on top of the motor ?

I am at work so can not give measurments but it takes a 5000mah lipo 4s in the nose. Amp draw depends alot on the prop but a x642 runs for approx 3 min till hits cut off set at 3.2v per cell. Does not sound like long but 3min at 60 mph is a blast and more than long enough for a 1500mtr race.

Andy if no one wants it I am very interested. Give the others a few more days and if no one wants it give me a shout. It would be a good boat to replace my NS 3 with as a boat to do some circle work with.
