    yes it is, it is a Phil Thomas hull.

    Just as long as the drive dog is no farther back than 1 drive dog length behind the transom.

    For IMPBA, the drive dog must be underneath the boat. Otherwise, the boat is 100% legal

      Incorrect. In IMPBA the drive must be behind the transom only if the real boat was that way. This generally applies to earlier piston pounders as a typical late model turbine strut extends beyond the transom. I really wish people would read the rule book before posting rules, it helps keep a lot of disinformation from spreading.

                On GPS it ran between 57-59mph with Turnigy 45C lipos and the included x450 CNC prop. You could get more out of it with better lipos and better prop. Thanks.

                  my apologies Don, I should have been more specific, as I am simply repeating what I was told at one point, as I own the same hull. But as far as pics ive seen from the late 90s Buds, the end of the strut was flush with the transom.
