I bought it used and ran it in a Shockwave 26 with a brushless 3000kv 2-pole motor. Changed the whole setup to a proboat 1500kv and proboat 45amp unit. I didn't like how hot the previous motor combo was getting on 3s. I will also say in my experience with that setup, the esc would start slow and then ramp up to the full power, seemed to get better as went from 2s to 3s, I do not know if that is an issue with the ESC, just something I noticed. During data pulls with a GT wattmeter that setup pulled 75-100 amps (spikes as it only captured max value) during testing. I would be happy to provide all my data to interested party, esc temp measurements were 102-126 range. I also tested this esc and 3000kv motor in my son's short course truck (because he smoked the old brushed motor) and the same throttle issue was apparent. Only reason I didn't just keep it in the truck was because it doesn't have reverse.
