Eflite Rare Bear 150mph setup Castle Ice 100 Castle Pro BEC BNF

Here is a something to get your blood boiling.

Eflite Rare Bear has 5 flights on 4s, and 6 more on 6s. Plane is a proven 150mph plan, check the rare bear thread on rcg if you'd like... Stock prop, stock motor with upgraded esc on 6s is what a couple handfuls of gents are doing on there, in fact brushless55 from here is one of us. Mine I went fancy on the electrics, New to this bird Castle Pheonix Ice 100esc also installed a Castle Pro 20a BEC, also has a already on board castle link quick connect installed ... For messing with the esc settings without taking esc out of birds nose ... I put packing tape on the area the plane skids on landing.. Flown and landed on grass. Plane looks beautiful couple little bits of hanger rash but this is one strong built and quite heavy little plane. It's got so much power point it up throw with light toss at 70% or more throttle and it will go out of sight in a hurry... Plane is very fast 150mph plane so I don't recommend for new flyers really... It lands like a baby actually very very easy to land, comes down quite slow, with zero bad habits... It's amazing how quick it will get to the moon :) so again here is a rundown.

Eflite rare bear PNP $199 horizon sale price
Castle Phoenix Ice 100 esc I paid $125 go nitro hobby retails $139
Castle 20a pro bec $44 I paid free ship to nitro
Tower Hobbies carries an expansive collection of RC cars, RC airplanes, RC boats, model trains, sot cars, and supplies for all hobbyists.

    Castle quick link $22.95
Spektrum at 6100e ultralight dsm2 rxr $79 retail, $44.95 I paid ebay ... The rxr has been in one other plane before no crashes.

I also upgraded the stick motor to esc bullets to 5.5mm as precaution...

This is setup to run on anything from 4s 2200's to 6s 3300's ... Yup you decide the speed... Runs 100mph on 2800mah 4s 30c packs and 150mph on the 6s 2650mah pulse ultra 45c pack shown...

Sold totally BNF... $305 plus exact ship probably reasonable as the plane breaks down with two screws to take off tail, and wings..

$369 if you want the 5 cycle old very new pulse ultra 45c pack... Pack runs $78 cheapest I can find and I don't care to sell it at all but will if someone needs it ready to go...

Oh yeh plane has packing tape over where the areas it touches when it lands lol... It's a belly landed and what many do to protect them ... Also I added packing tape carefully to ailerons to keep them on the plane as per recommended by others who run 150mph rare bears. :) 150 mph I like to keep them attached to plane ... Also reason for the bec... No way I want to lose control of a missle. :)

Hey Scott, I do have a couple float planes, Unfortunately they're not shippable lol... I actually rarely list planes as shippable, but this one has a wing that comes off in 2 mins, and the elevator halves slide right out after removing a couple screws... my float planes 1. a converted to electric Seawind blasa 62" span, and a big top flight Cessna converted to electric too :) ... but both would be a bundle to ship, and wouldn't even feel good doing so.

This plane has around a 40" span, fits in the backseat... and is a absolute hoot to fly!
