Can you help me decipher the following props:

ABC 1714/3 turbo cut $20 - This is about 43mm? 1.4 pitch? What is the Turbo Cut?

        Prather detunged $12 ea
215 - Can I run these as is without additional balance / sharpening? DT is to help unload the prop correct?
220 - Can I run these as is without additional balance / sharpening? DT is to help unload the prop correct?

1714/3 43mm 1.4 pitch ratio. Turbo cut is a little groove at the base of the blade to unload the prop a bit and take out a little lift.

The raw DT prathers need to be sharpened and balanced, not ready to use. DT unloads and increases the average pitch, so increases all else being equal.

I have a question about the Stainless props:

                  Picture 5
Special order Prop Shop UK stainless blanks. 2/3/4 blade $12ea
                  -4 blade
                  3720 Sold Brushless55
                  4019
                  4217
                  -3 blade
                  3720 x2 1 Sold Brushless55
                  4019 Sold Brushless55
                  4217 x2
                  4221 x2
                  -2 blade
                  3720
                  4019 x2
                  4217
                  4214 Sold ray schrauwen

Am I correct in assuming the first number if the diameter and the second is the pitch? Example 3720 = 37mm dia with 2.0" of pitch?

first 2 numbers are diameter, second 2 numbers are pitch ratio.

                    Example: 4217= 42mm and 1.7 p/r (pitch x diameter). Pitch is 71mm (2.8")

Thanks for the props. Very nice 440/3. How the heck do you do that on a lathe?? My brother just came up from Florida today.

Happy new year! Hope its a good one.
