WOW. Did I ever screw up BIG TIME!
My paypal is hotmail not yahoo. I told you yahoo.

I must have made this error before, because I had a paypal account with that yahoo address too. Reset the password, upgraded the account to accept payments, and there it is. WHEW.

The HW set will be out in the morning dostacos!

I ran the set mounted to the boat. It (hardware) ran well. The boat suffered from torque roll because the prop was too big for the RPM's I was turning. I cut down a plastic prop to 24mm and it was too small, she cavitated badly. So the target range is between 26mm & 25mm. I will start with 26, then work down slowly to find the sweet spot.

Diegoboy they arrived today, I noticed that yours have attachments that face in but the ones you sent both face the same direction, is it safe to knock out the pin and reverse the non control horn rudder? also what size is the threaded hole for the connector between the rudders?

thanks again, my son's mini arrived with a broken rudder so I can give him mine as soon as I set up my new rudders

The thread size is 4-40. Yes you can flip it. The rudder is c/a in place . To remove pin there is a 4-4o set screw behind the rudder. Loosen set screw remove pin flip reverse.... The rudders are c/a'd in place to save weight and provide a bit of safety if you hit anything. Make sure everything is clean before re attaching rudder... Dave Danny will know what length of control rod to get.

only one has a horn but both brackets face the same way, I have not looked at a boat yet to see if that will set them too narrow

                            Sorry about that Dos.
I had installed the bracket backward. I didn't even realize it till now. Lonewolf is correct about reversing the bracket. Heat the rudder, then the CA will let go. Loosen the set screw on the shaft, then reverse the bracket. tighten the set screw, clean it up, and CA it back in place.

If you can't do it, or feel it's too much for you, send me one of them, and I'll reverse it for you.

As for the connecting rod, I'll get it out to you ASAP. I didn't get the rudder sets with these rods, I had to get'em from the LHS. Luckily I got 2.

                            My apologies,

                            Danny
