Bill.... I wasn't expecting it to be cheap lol, I've been shipping things all around the world for many years.... so I'm pretty adept to the high shipping costs of large/long/heavy items.

Can I get the box dimensions and weight? lol I wouldn't want to go 2" of padding with UPS, usps I wouldn't worry so much :) btw its going to be a race boat, not a shelf queen by any stretch.

One more question is the first cat, the promise cat you ran 9s2p on... is that capable of a 4 minute run? Apparantly any hull basically qualifies for the Open hydro class, riggers, cats, and actual hydros...

I was basing on leaving everything attached to the transom (except rudder blade & turn fins) so went with 60x18x18 for dimensions. Weight I just fed it 20 lbs since it doesn't really have a lot to do with it once the box gets that big. The boat itself is probably only around 7 lbs.
On the promise cat, if you prop it down to like a 452 it will run 4 minutes with no problem topping out around 55 mph (or at least it would before the ESC cap puffed) It was capable of of around 8 or 9 laps even with the 460/3 that I liked running on it. I liked coming out of a corner, nailing it and watching it "wheelie"
