Why do you have these listed if you don't have them for sale? You say in your post that one is on hold for someone on IW. I would like to buy the other one you have for sale.

devo - After I listed them for sale here on OSE I also listed them on IW. Once on IW all sorts of interest took place. Time wise the interest on IW was first in line. It is not uncommon to list on multiple sites. It is a little more complicated to be things in order and probably will avoid it in the future.

well thanks for nothing, I really wanted these and im also a member of IW. You did not follow the rules of selling on this site and im surprised a mod hasnt said anything. If you had posted that both were spoken form on IW I would completely understand but you didn't. Your post stated that you had one on hold for someone on IW, not both of them and first to say i'll take it gets one. And just to think I would have gave you $150 shipped and was ready to pay. Now I will just buy one here I guess unless I can find another

The rules are different on IW, he very well sold them both there via PM long before you posted in thread on IW... he probably sold one via PM there and the second on hold via PM there...the rules are very lax there and have nothing to do with the rules here, if he sold the products there and didn't update here in time for you to respond first its not his fault, as it looks like he sold them last night and hasn't been online again. We all have lives, and they don't revolve soley around toy boats.

and you'll see he states they are for sale on other forums and this rule applies from the OSE rule page:

5. The first reply post that shows intent to buy pending more information in the thread (NOT via PM) is first in line to buy the item. ** BUT ** If the sellers item description indicates otherwise, the sellers rule takes precedence.

Not trying to make you angry but the seller did nothing wrong, we are playing with toy boats, and toy boat parts.... I think you should really grasp that before being mad that you missed a good deal...

Worth hearing to say to whom... you? I think touting that a long term member is breaking the rules when he obviously isn't is not worth my .02 cents.... honestly I see why the mods get so fed up, remember as one very wise mod says "TOY BOATS!!!!!!!!!!"

And yes, if its for sale on other forums its a good idea to list that here... it doesn't mean the rules don't apply to you?? you make no sense.. the rules state that dealings on here need to be in thread and not via pm... and first one to say I'll take it (not an offer but at asking) gets it.... but if it already sold on another forum that is out of the control of this forum... its not rocket science, don't make it up to be what it isn't. I wasn't being rude to you either, I was just stating the rules and try and defend what is obviously and innocent member whom I've had fair dealings with. Sorry if I offended you.

Oh My!

Facts on record - all information and transactions took place in the posts on OSE and IW forums. None were done by PM. All transactions on IW took place at least 6 hours prior to any "I'll take it" posting on OSE. I did hold one after Kris Flynn's posting on IW (still way earlier than the OSE post). Kris services our Hobby with custom flex shafts. Figured it was the right thing to do and pay him back a little.

Might be easier just to box up my extra equipment and pitch it in the dumpster. Selling and shipping it is a pain in the arse. It's not that I even need the money.

It looks like Dan Hutchinson took the 2nd one at 07:16 PM yesterday. Mark Ham said "I will take one" at 8:36 PM yesterday. You missed the boat at 11.01 pm so to speak devo. It happens..........Time to put a fork in this "Toy Boat" thread.
